Covered town and the green line, all official of course. A good day the sun was shining and I never realised that their where quite so many pin boards.
Excellent day for walking.

What better way to spend it than knitting (well actually crocheting today) showered with gifts and a Swedish happy birthday I was truly over whelmed.
Princess cake and home made muffins, oh so spoiled.

So again watch this space, more news to follow!
This week on a tram/train trip I bumped into one of the authors form the book Knitted by me that I feature (God I love writing that!)
Jenny, see told me that at the moment they are thinking of putting the book to
I have none!!!!
This is all funny as the knitting didn’t start until here/Stockholm.
But I on it, once the nets up I figure I go home in a year so I really should see what’s awaiting for my return to
Also that it has to be put to proper English, by a translator!, again I am totally useless!
1) I can read but cant understand patterns, nor do I know any knit terms other that plain and pearl (just)
2) And even if I could with the dyslexic part none of the patterns would work as Id no doubt Miss Major Parts ;-(
Hard to believe but it actually a bag made from a shower curtain. It’s the dollar store shower curtain that was cut into strips. I am going to make a quirky beach bag I think ;-) Seeing as the weathers got warmer and the Swedish local beach bathing will commence.
Ingredients
1 ball of cut shower curtain plastic
1 blue string
1 x 8mm crochet hook
How
I made the base using an 8 chain and then just went round and round adding stitches as I went to make the base flat.
Once I reached the size required I just stopped adding stitches, then the sides form.
We moved in we unpacked and have been with out net access for two weeks so here is my catch up blogging…….yes I’ am an addict (I missed it so much)
This I am really excited about and the stitch I have planned for a while just not had the out fit to try it on.
So here it is, I crochet on top of crochet. I used a four stitch the baby blanket type and with an 8mm hook picked up on top of the original 15mm hook fabric I had 1st crochet the sleeve with. End result is a kind of bone like structure.
Neck line
The neck line I have lifted using a 3mm hook and burgundy acrylic I added different rows and different stitches to pull it in at different angles.
The body
This is actually knitted in cotton which s unusual for me a Christmas gift (thanks Sophie) But to be honest I found the cotton hard work, no stretch that I’m used too and also it’s not at all forgiving.
This is it so far……..
