Melissa Gorga posed for a spread in Life&Style magazine where she showed off her rockin' bikini body. Melissa, 32, talked to the mag about juggling her new singing career with motherhood, and trying to stay in shape. Plus, we know she has to keep her husband and his never ending sexual appetite satisfied.
"There is no dieting going on in the Gorga household! I can't diet! I stay active so I can eat what I want," Melissa tells Life & Style. However, she adds, "I'm not a huge meat-and-potatoes girl. I tend to go for lighter meals, because that's what I enjoy." That seems to be the idea way to be. You dont' diet or stress about what you eat, because you know you are naturally drawn to healthier meals.
Melissa had three c-sections in her birthing career. Her last one was in December 2010. After giving birth last year, Melissa got with trainer, Kelly Giordana, to whip her in shape. Melissa worked out three times a week for hourlong weight workouts to stay toned.But with three kids, it's hard to maintain a steady workout. "I'm up and down the stairs and running around the house, so I feel I get cardio that way."
Kelly leads Melissa in a series of moves that includes "pulling exercises to help posture, lunges, squats, single-leg exercises, planks and twists from side to side," the trainer tells Life & Style."
Melissa is throwing herself into the spotlight even more than your average housewife, with a venture into the music world. This could mean more criticism from the interwebs. But Melissa plans to not focus on her problem areas. "I think you need to figure out which part of your body is your best and focus on it and flaunt it," she says.
