Join The Hills2City Team

We are looking for writers, journalists, fashion, celebrity, lifestyle and social media enthusiasts to join the Hills2City staff. Hills2City keeps growing and is looking to fill the following internship positions:

General Contributor:

Description: Responsible for covering all the happenings related to young Hollywood other fabulous celebrities.

Qualifications: Must be in the know on popular culture and/or be a good writer. Should be able to come up with innovative ways to approach pop culture stories.

Weekend Contributor:

Description: The weekend contributor will write stories like the General Contributor on Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications: Must be in the know on popular culture and/or be a good writer. Should be able to come up with innovative ways to approach pop culture stories.

Fashion Contributor:

Description: We’re looking for a fashionista who is also good with their pen. The fashion contributor knows how to put a good outfit together and loves to tell the world about it.

Qualifications: A good fashion sense.

Lifestyle Contributor:

Description: Responsible for writing lifestyle pieces on topics including relationships, fitness, health, but mainly relationships. This individual will also answer reader questions in blog posts with the editor’s guidance.

Qualifications: Are you the one always giving advice to friends? Do you love talking about hot issues? If so, and if you have a strong work ethic and are a team player, this internship position is for you!

Social Network Specialist:

Description: Responsible for engaging with Twitter followers and Facebook fans by corresponding with them. Some possibilities include tweeting followers during reality TV show episodes. Grow social network following. Come up with ideas on how to expand the social media presence.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will enjoy working with social media and be familiar with the major outlets, specifically, Twitter and Facebook. The contributor will also have a strong work ethic, and be a self-starter and team player.

Reality TV Contributor:

Description: Responsible for recapping episodes of the most popular reality shows and keeping up with all the buzz surrounding the show. Comes up with creative ideas for stories.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be someone who loves reality TV and wants to engage with our reality TV fans. Good writing skills preferred, but we will train. The contributor will also have a strong work ethic, and be a self-starter and team player.

Reporter:

Description: This position is ideal for people wanting to get into the industry. Will attend events, take photos, and interview celebs.

Qualifications: Must live in New York or Los Angeles.

Celebrity News Gatherer:

Description: Responsible for surfing the web and finding relevant stories for our writers to post. This is a good way to get involved with the celebrity news business without maintaining a writing position.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will already peruse the internet several times a week reading stories on various websites. The gatherer must frequent various sites and pull the stories they feel will be the most interesting to our readers and assign them to our writers.

Events: All positions have opportunities to attend some events featuring celebrities and take photos, do writeups and possibly interviews, depending on your interests.
