Woolly walk along pimp.

Woolly walk along pimp.
operation harbour railings(lots of)/ New Zealand, so beautiful.
knitty Graffity did her thing...... getting so many involved for such a fun project.

A world wide collaboration of street art/yarn bombing/knitted graffiti.
I love that the knit is so out in the open, that you can walk and touch it
feeling the yarns and all the stitches watch it weather, grow old.  Well for a while at least;-)

It won't last forever but captured by photography is a perminant memory, my kind of art.
Below the links to read all about it.

All over the WORLD!

I helped or am helping, a little bit makes a big difference.

knitted graffiti on a huge scale.

http://www.koes.dk/#/483666/
I sent the Home Sweet Home graffiti for this project and a little goodie bag of other knits, triangles above.  Which you can see in the graffiti shot above they are under the bridge.

Stockholm's graffiti knitters , below I translated a little.  For the full story link above.
It was tough as hell. Lift broke. Not just once. Several times. It was cold. it was weeks and weeks of work all rolled in.  crochet stitch, threads clipped, tied, carried across the world.
They thank all who helped. (hugely)
I have been busy lately and its a global task, so far, Sweden for a project in Denmark.

http://twilighttaggers.blogspot.com/2011/03/float-away-duck-project.html
It's seems my ideas are taking on all over the world!!!
whilst randomly looking for some thing's to do with the Melbourne festival of light, I couldn't believe my eyes!

Chance or a copy? how did this happen.

I think that the ducks are a pretty good imitation.  And really if I where the inspiration, I'm  pretty flattered its just suck a good idea.

Maybe we could do a duck exchange?
