Popcorn stitch with a vinatge feel.  I added the button to look like a little broach.

1st thing is to be Positive, the shawl I love.  Now the reason for my absence......

Not just under the weather....dead   My clever other half decided to fix 
(he's capable) 
But with little attention as its mine not his, he lost practically everything
I'd saved, yes pass words, calender all the things that I thought would stay.

Annoyed, an understatement.....if he said I would have memory's sticked them.  God forbid, wrote then down.

Hence no posts, not codes no saved favourite, every single book mark, lost lost.  
Lost tonnes, I'm lazy I use the pc memory, now I can't even remember what half the sites where. Huuugggh 

No more slow broken pc= fixed fast but pointless as honesty I'm missing all my favourite things.

Incy wincy spider, just thought it would make a funky screen saver.....
and if you look close you'll see what i didn't using the camera to zoom,
we are a few legs missing.

 Boredom is an emotional state experienced when an individual is without any work or is not interested in the surroundings.
There it is again, I dared to utter the words out loud. I tweeted!
World wide I am officially BORED.

I'm hoping it's a passing  phase, seeing its what I use to create my
art (knitting for art) I know knitting? Crochet is what I do.  The
name was picked at the beginning of my knit/crochet career and knit
was short lived (frogged project Evie the hole just would not fix)
The reason I don't knit is because I'm rubbish.  I understand crochet,
maybe a little to much, SEEING did I mention "I'M BORED".

My inspiration of this is liz Hurley meets shabby chic, the safety pin the Liz Hurley the dress a sari like doily.  The head dress some really really old beads that I found in my bottom draw, bohemian I guess would be a better use of description 

Simple, but I like it;-)

Now with added paint splash that now is happily hanging in my hall way.

Below they are coming on, I just need to work on the wooden strip that will hold all the crochet extensions.  It's a really good use of bits and bobs and like all artist I have lots of bits and bobs.

Currently crocheting a strip that's the left over plastic animals from my Mary Mary dress.

Here's where my mind goes blank, between the Outcast blog my flickr and my art blog, yep over publishing! but which do you cut out?(face book/Twitter) And if I make that choice it will be the one that effects my most art wise.  

So I carry on complaining.......(I think that the heat is getting to me today)

But any how I can not remember if I posted this or not, so It's a first or I repeating, either way it's DONE

The video is progress for an art crochet project, unfortunate I videoed it side ways, hey hoe but it is a WIP so next go ill get it right.

Sun Shine Shone Shining.

My garden sun when it don't shine, my inspiration for the sun shine part of Mary Mary. Its actually a combination of two things, this my 30th present to myself and I once made a huge collage Murial in one of my many homes (nomad) funnily it was of the hills, sky and sun.

But the sun was my favourite part, all swirls in little square of magazine advert cut up from dark pink to bright orange and all the colours in-between.

I sadly don't have any pictures other than a tiny little disposable camera print 

(ill take a photo of a photo) for a later post so you can see what I achieved.

It kind of looks like a huge flower, this would be one corsage that SJP would be proud to wear.

Maybe I could recycle this at some point into a hat for ladies day?  I guess I had better use it for the purpose created that being the sun part to my grass ,sky and sun.

Recycled Ducks jackets these where the Woodley Library ones that kind of went a little mouldy(Stagnate pond water) so the yarn could not be reused but the ducks where pleased to be scrubbed up for future use.

A little prep-ping a lot of visitors, its all wrapped and not the usual quiet Stockholm Christmas we had been accustomed too, but I can tell you, its pretty nice.

It's now knitttttttttt time.

My finished gifts are as follows many blankets, my skirts nearly there and I think that  it's about time that I made my self a hat and scarf, my own Christmas gift.

Art

Just as it says, my letters are coming on well.........
I'm defiantly busy knit and art wise, adding to that my new study pattern
and I feel that I am waving and not drowning.

But this weekend I really need to get my self a realistic schedule.

As I love what I do, and I need to make slots for everything, God forbid I couldn't fit in my obsessive blogging.

Packaging dress gets sleeves

I really am fed up with looking at this unfinished dress on my mannequin. I guess it does not help that It sits in my front room.(main living space)

Calling out to me , "finish me"........Pleasssssssseeeeee.

Unfortunately I don't have Cinderella little helpers...........

Well two Guinea pigs and a dog, they need constant care, walk ,feed clean.

They don't dance around Tra la lar'ing helping me get my dress made.

This will go to the Ball soon, I just need to get my act together.

I still have to work out what type of neck line I can have.

As the dress is so delicate the weight is tough,

as it has to be equally shared or it will rip the dress.

Another issue is that I am actually using whole packaging pieces and they tend to be rectangle so I have to attach them to fit or make smaller if to large but by gathering them not cutting!

Why?

Who knows! I just like a challenge I guess.

Health wise after my disastrous few weeks

My cold id nearly gone (nasal spray addict)

And as from Monday, I'm back to my long walks, foot ok.

Ready for running;-0

Side panels are now completed on one side.

I do have a handsome prince though, he brought me flowers.

And get this, for no reason ............

He brought me wool, now theirs man who know how to get to my heart.

But in order to do this you have to pick them up and pull a cord at the back of there heads.

Which wreaks there perfectly groomed hair, and cute little outfit. So I only do that when I outfit change.

When Paul discovered this he decided to annoy me by constantly by changing the eye colour.(aaaahhhh)

And so on this visit I out smarted him and hid them in a cupboard. So of course to his annoyance he couldn't find them.

Once he left and I went to fetch them it made me laugh.
(inwardly obsessive again, that's three times this post)

As they really looked shocked and startled even a little freaky at being found.



Oslo Lap top bag for bean



I was so under the weather when I did my Oslo no knitting post that I had forgotten on the drive down I actually did manage a crochet.

Basic but all that was needed , Bean in true teenage boy style (18! I guess man) shocking

Chubby cheeked 5 year old in my eye's............

Brought a lap top and no case! so denim blue and pretty plain stitch, he was happy. I had to re-frame from my usual flowers and bright colours of decoration;-)
