Now I sound just like my teenagers.

Mindless stitches, but really fun to do,

Designing the letters and then filling the gaps!

Very addictive.

The green is my New York yarn and actually Wool
(not my usual acrylic)

I love the colour, it work's so well with the navy.

What's that old saying "Blue and green should not be seen........."

It's called Christmas tree green that works;-)

Packaging update

I'm currently working with the day light here
(snowy days can be bright, but also dark)

This amount of detail requires day light.

Attaching the side panels with a cotton yarn crochet chains.

This will be one of my longest projects,

in fact I can not remember when I started it, i'll Google it

And report back on that;-).

I feel a pretty rare site , so I asked if I could take his picture. He was very happy, pretty relaxed as his dog. I cant image my pup will ever be able to do this! K,I,P that is.....;-(

VHS dress

My picture not so good for the debut, but the dress went down very well.
One guy said that "I was very inventive", the dress attracted a lot of attention.

Curiosity I guess?

I like to watch peoples faces the experienced knitters unsure of my creations.

(free-form/not the norm!)

The elderly dears come to touch and check the quality of my crochet, with a smile on there faces, it's not to everyone liking but pretty much a thumbs up from most.

For the future

I think that if it spends to much time on show, that it would have to have a sign unfortunately saying "not to touch", as just everyone had to have a feel.

Realistically it's pretty breakable, but for yesterday it did well. A shining example of my knitted Art;-).

Stockholms Kultufestival 09/Day four

Day four a windy day,
which meant any excuse to leave the knit station, So I attached as many as the little graffiti knits as I could to make one huge knit/crochet long scarf (best description)

Then armed with my trustee crochet hook and some novel yarn Off I went, to find a sunny spot. Bask a little in the sun to warm up, whist attaching the graffiti at the same time.

Sergal is looking very knitted pretty...............

Feeling like a Skansen (Zoo) exhibit as I'm watched by onlookers desperate to have a go.

All at the same time to me a very funny hanging the graffiti with permission!

Day five (Today)

Final day;-(
Vernissage of all helpers and their knits ,so my dresses and me(Just the two)

I plan on a completely outrageous out fit,
(Vivianne Westwood meets Co Co the clown)

But working out the logistics
No car, me in and outrageous out fit and two mannequin with there dresses!

Fun and frolic's, I'll do my best.

My VHS dress is staring to win me over, I really haven't been that keen in the making.

It has taken me a while and I have had to strengthen a lot of the dress.

But this heart neck line that I have recently created, is really lovely the

Horse Travel

This was a funny sight, the lady had parked her horse, only in Stockholm.

It's a very horsey place, but this was a first for me.

Just in need of a quick coffee.

You get a bike rack to lock up, but I'm afraid even the most accommodating country doesn't offer a horse rack;-).

Some stuff that was stagnant, Alice dress it's progress just annoyed me..........

So I unravelled it, some could say harsh

But I think that sometimes its good to be drastic.

This bug bear dress, is just getting more and more technical.
The weight is still an issue that's why if you look close you can see all my support ropes.

My handsome puppy, who seems to be terribly jinxed. Yesterday he got stung by a bee and his face swelled, the swelling went down.
Then.........Today his chin swelled. Poor boy!
